- Japanese Technical Translator
- Responsible for translating English or Chinese technical documents including online help manuals and documentation into Japanese.
- Read technical material in English or Chinese and creates material in Japanese using Microsoft Office (English, Chinese and Japanese versions).
- Evaluate the level of translation, technical and subject matter skills required for completion of specific translation and localization projects.
- Participate in the implementation phase of translation and localization projects including resource balancing, client contact and support.
- Bachelor's degree in any field plus two years of experience as a Japanese or Chinese Technical Translator, Japanese/ English/ Chinese Language Instructor, Japanese or Chinese Customer Service Rep., or Japanese or Chinese Editor.
- Must be able to read and write Japanese and English.
- Ability to work as a team player in a deadline driven environment.
- DTP Operator
- Experience of desktop publishing in the field of edit layout and graphic design.
- Must be able to read and understand technical documents in English or Chinese.
- Must be familiar with and be able to make free use of major DTP software such as FrameMaker, QuarkXpress, InDesign.
- Ability to work as a team player and deal with a great deal in a quick delivery deadline driven environment.
- Software Engineering
- Experience of software localization and testing.
- Must be a native speaker of at least one language (English, Chinese or Japanese) and be able to read and write in one language of the others.
- Must be familiar with software skills of at least one platform, such as Windows, UNIX, MacOS.
- Certified Professional desirable. Ability to work as a team player in a delivery deadline driven environment.
